How long have you been in business?
We've been defensive driving for ticket dismissal since 1989.
What is your primary product or service?
We teach defensive driving for those who have requested it from their court. We also have private classes to business for continuing education, which many businesses with employees driving company vehicles require.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
When I left USAA, I decided to put not only my insurance background, but my comedy background to work. I started doing stand-up at the comedy workshop in Houston, Tx. and shared the stage with Sam Kenison, Bill Hicks, Thea Vidal, and more. My insurance background includes Allstate Ins. Liberty Mutual and USAA. I thought that with my background we could do defensive driving better, which many people rate as boring - up there with having their teeth pulled. We take the boring out of defensive driving.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have touring professional comedians, not just people who say they are funny or comedians. Unfortunately, there are some schools, that just say they have comedians, but don't. They give all of us a bad rap. Our list of names of touring comedians that have taught for us include Bob Bartlet, Cleto Rodriguez, Louie Mendez, Danny Ingle, Jay Lafarr, Doug Jones, Dee Williams, Matt Golightly, Richard Trevino, Ryan Johnson, Louis Crawford(Mr. Taco Bell) and Miguel Anguaino and we're always on the lookout for good and talented comedians.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have three locations currently, but plan to expand.

We have classes from 9am to 3pm daily. We have an evening class at our northwest and northeast location from 6pm to 9pm. The total hours required by the state is 6 hours for ticket dismissal
